John Carlini Spreads Some Valentine's Day Love
Award-winning guitarist performs love songs at Environmental Education Center.
Patch showed up to photograph jazz guitarist at the Environmental Education Center. But the afternoon, arranged by the township's Farmstead Arts, unfolded with a presentation of love songs and beloved classics that created the perfect opportunity for a Valentine's Day video.
Carlini and his fellow musicians are the Farmstead Arts' first concert in a to run on the first Sunday of each month. The next scheduled concert is a celtic harp and guitar concert, "Slight Imperfection," scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 2 p.m. The concert is scheduled to be held at the Farmstead Arts at 450 King George Road.
Carlini, who lives in Berkeley Heights but grew up in Summit, was accompanied by vocalist Bill Robinson of Summit. The trio was rounded out with acoustic bass player Jim Whitney from Brooklyn, N.Y.
