Ridge Football to Defend 7-0 Record at Friday 'Pinkout Night'

Recognition of breast cancer awareness month will add a touch of pink to 7-0 Ridge Red Devils.

Even if they add a touch of pink to their uniforms on Friday night, you probably won't mistake these guys for girls.

The undefeated Ridge High School Red Devils will take on Hunterdon Central at home at 7 p.m. on Friday and also recognize "pinkout night" for Breast Cancer Awareness month. 

The 7-0 team has a number of special events planned for Friday night:

Pink t-shirts have been sold all week at Ridge High School, and spectators are encouraged to wear pink.

The Ridge Touchdown Club will be raffling a special "PINK" basket at the game. It will be on display before the raffle at the apparel table.

The team has invited Program for Exceptional Children to the game for some special recognition and activities. The Ridge Touchdown Club will donate the profits from the sale of the PINK t-shirts and the game's 50/50 raffle to a cancer society.
