Escape to a 'Honey' of a Holiday Boutique

Holiday Boutique offers tasty treats and tasteful art, including Basking Ridge resident's.

Each week, we’ll tell you about one great idea to give you a much deserved break, and make your life a little easier, maybe a whole lot easier.

This week, fit a shopping trip at Warren's Wagner Farms Arboretum into your holiday shopping itinerary. The Arboretum's Holiday Boutique, held in the heated shop at 197 Mountain Ave. in Warren, is filled with original art works, freshly-made honey products (from Wagner Farms' own beehives), baked goods and gift items perfect for adding a bit country charm to any room or house. One of the featured artists/artisans is Kristina Lloyd, who also is gallery coordinator at the Farmstead Arts center in Basking Ridge.

Plus, when you shop at the boutique, you're helping contribute to Wagner Farms Arboretum's plans for a greenhouse, to be built as part of the Arboretum's long-term plans to make the site one of Somerset County's best locations celebrating the area's agricultural history.
