Holiday Parade Thursday Night in Liberty Corner

Parade to line up and begin Thursday evening at the flagpole in the center of Liberty Corner.

The annual Bernards Township Chamber Holiday Parade is scheduled to be held on Thursday evening, stepping off at 7:30 p.m. from the flagpole in the center of the Liberty Corner section of Bernards Township.

The parade will proceed down Church Street to the where refreshments and Santa will greet guests, said Al LiCata, executive director of the Bernards Township Regional Chamber of Commerce. The Liberty Corner Fire Company is the parade's co-sponsor.

The annual event, founded by the Bernards Chamber more than a decade ago, helps to share the spirit of the holidays, and draws attention to the Liberty Corner section of the township, LiCata said.

“We encourage everyone to line the street and join in our shared spirit of the holidays as we roll up towards the firehouse," said Rob Love, president of the chamber.

“We wish to thank the Fire Company for their handling of the permit process each year and for allowing the use of their firehouse for the post parade reception. They are a solid partner to work with,” LiCata said.
