The upcoming lunches will be held April 3 at Fellowship Village, April 10 at Society Hill and April 17 at the Hills Highlands Clubhouse.

Bernards Township Mayor Scott Spitzer will continue his brown bag lunch tour with three dates in April, including one new addition at Society Hill.

The next three lunches will be held on April 3 at Fellowship Village, April 10 at Society Hill and April 17 at the Hills Highlands Clubhouse.

The brown bag lunches originated as one of Spitzer's six initiatives for the township in 2010. Residents are able to meet with the mayor and discuss their thoughts and opinions on township matters.

"We held our second brown bag lunch on March 20, 2010 at Spring Ridge Clubhouse and more than a dozen residents attended. It was a lively exchange of information, ideas and comments," Spitzer said. "A wide variety of topics of local interest were discussed. I cordially invite residents to join me for the next brown bag luncheon scheduled for Saturday, April 3, 2010 at the Fellowship Village Main Building between Noon and 2 p.m."

Mayor Spitzer also said, "I am very pleased to be able to announce an additional brown bag lunch to be held at Society Hills of Bernards I Clubhouse on Saturday, April 10, 2010 from Noon to 2 p.m. Residents of both Society Hills of Bernards I, as well as residents of Society Hills of Bernards II are cordially invited to attend, as well as any other township residents.  I greatly appreciate the cooperation of the Society Hills of Bernards I Board of Trustees and management in supporting and scheduling this lunch."
