The Ridge Tavern Closed As of Thursday

Ridge Tavern, as promised, was closed by Thursday. The restaurant will later reopen following renovations, a manager previously said.

Ridge Tavern is at 55 S. Finley Ave. in downtown Basking Ridge in the building formerly occupied by The Store restaurant.

The new restaurant will continue under the same ownership, manager Marco Monge said earlier in August.

The Store was purchased by the ownership of The Tewksbury Inn in 2010.

Ridge Tavern's last day serving reportedly was Wednesday. A sign on the door of the main entrance behind the building says the kitchen is closed.
