Women in Business to Hold 'Manicures & Martinis'

Business networking opportunity, with a martini and manicure (or massage) thrown in.

The Somerset County Business Partnership's “Women in Business” group has scheduled it's second annual “Manicures & Martinis” at the in Basking Ridge, a networking event with food, a martini, and a choice of a manicure or chair massage included for admission.

The event is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, at the hotel at 80 Allen Road.

According to the group, "Manicures & Martinis" will offer local women in business a unique peer networking opportunity. "Last year’s inaugural event was a great success, from both the attendance and enjoyment standpoint," said Diana Sieberg, vice-president of the Business Partnership.

"By recreating the atmosphere of a salon, the evening is the perfect opportunity to relax after a long day, make new business contacts, and enjoy meeting new friends," she said.

Attendees are asked to bring a personal care item for individuals or families to be donated to the local food bank as part of the Somerset County United Way Women’s Initiative. A list of suggested items may be found online.
