The morning session will address the increasingly important issue of Long Term Care.  Many financial periodicals have been written about the threat that a long-term illness can have on someone’s retirement, a threat that can devastate an individual’s family, home, savings, business, and legacy. The presentation will cover; what is long-term care, what is the continuum of care, and what are the funding options.

Long-term care includes a variety of services to help meet medical and non-medical needs of people with a chronic illness or disability, who cannot care for themselves for long periods of time. Long-term care can assist with normal daily tasks and can provide for a level of medical care requiring the expertise of skilled practitioners.

The FiSIG mission is to educate Business Partnership members and others on issues affecting personal and professional financial lives that are often intertwined in small and medium sized businesses. The group meets regularly to discuss economic and legislative issues that impact profitability, share best practices, and plan and implement educational workshops.

The session is free for Business Partnership members and $30 for non-members. Pre-registration is recommended and may be accomplished at http://web.scbp.org/events/eventdetail.aspx?EventID=15539 or by calling the Business Partnership at 908-218-4300.
