Millington Savings Bank Steps Up For The Fight Against Cancer

Millington Savings Bank once again successfully brought together a team of enthusiastic volunteers to participate in the American Cancer Society’s 29th Annual Relay for Life held on June 14th-15th at Watchung Hills Regional High School.  This marks the 13th year that the bank has participated in the event.

The Millington Savings Bank team, Banking on a Cure, raised over $5,600 for the American Cancer Society, taking 2nd place fundraising honors in Warren. This was the 12th consecutive year the group of volunteers, comprised of Millington Bank employees, family members and friends, exceeded their fundraising goal.  The Relay for Life raises money to support the American Cancer Society’s efforts in research, education and advocacy.
