Basking Ridge Tea Party Issues Invitation to 'Tax Day Tea Party Rally' in Morristown

Greater Basking Ridge group to be part of Saturday's rally; also plans April 28 meeting.

The Greater Basking Ridge Tea Party is planning two events, starting with participation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday in a planned "Tax Day Tea Party Rally" on the Green in Morristown.

The GBRTP will be represented, since the group is a chapter of the Morristown Tea Party, said Tina LaBeaume, coordinator of the local group.

Guest speakers will include Curtis Sliwa, founder of the Guardian Angels, who on March 1 had addressed the Basking Ridge Tea Party at its monthly meeting.

Other scheduled guest speakers in Morristown include Peter Ferrara, senior fellow at The Heritage Foundation and Gayle Kesselman of New Jersey Citizens for Immigration Control.
