B'ville News: Skydiving Grandma Keeps Promise

The Bernardsville News has a story of a Basking Ridge woman who took the leap with her recently graduated grandson.

Not many grandmothers give graduation presents like Marie Cirillo of Basking Ridge.

Cirillo, grandmother of recent University of North Carolina graduate Frankie Pulice of Bridgewater, fulfilled a promise on Saturday, July 17, jumping out of a Cessna with her grandson as a graduation celebration.

The idea started as a joke, but eventually turned into 45-seconds of freefall reaching speeds over 120 miles per hour.
