Cancellations and Closings Pile Up With the Snow

All Bernards Township school and sports activities have been canceled for today.

UPDATE: The Bernards Township Library closed at 3 p.m.

As the snow began falling lightly last night around 9:30 p.m. weather-related cancellations began coming in. As the students of Bernards Township Schools are happily aware, today was marked as a snow day, with all school activities closed.

Snow is expected to continue to fall until midnight tonight, with blizzard conditions, heavy snow and strong winds expected to make driving conditions treacherous throughout the day. AccuWeather is currently predicting a total accumulation of 9.5 inches by the end of the day.
