Celebrating Easter in Basking Ridge, From Services to Brunch

Easter fun, church services and dining, with or without the bunny.

It's Easter Weekend and festive activities or spiritual services abound for a very special holiday. Kids, parents and grandparents can enjoy participating or spectating. It should be bright and colorful, and even if the weather brings rain, there are still indoor activities to enjoy.

The Easter Bunny will be making appearances around town this weekend while kids can hunt down Easter eggs or climb through mazes made of hay.

Churches throughout town are holding services at various times on Sunday including a sunrise service (6 a.m.) for the early risers at the Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church.

Whether you in the mood for an Easter Brunch or a later-in-the-day dinner, area restaurants have put together some tempting menus. Do call ahead for a reservation. Almost all of the restaurants are requiring them and have scheduled specific seatings.

Enjoy your time with familly and friends. Let’s hope for sunny days and the scent of spring in the air.
