Free Friday Night Drive-In Movies Come to Somerset

The County Park Commission will host three old-fashioned drive-in movies this summer.

Pack a picnic basket and pile the family into the DeSoto (or whatever you may be driving these days), and head over to Duke Island Park on Old York Road in Bridgewater for the Somerset County Park Commission Drive-In Movies.

The event is one of a number of free summer opportunities available to Bernards residents courtesy of the Somerset County Park Commission.

Families are invited travel back in time with and old-fashioned drive-in movie, just like in the 50's - complete with large screen and popcorn, and best of all, free admission.

The 11th annual family event is scheduled for three consecutive Fridays, July 16, July 23, and July 30, 2010 with the show beginning at 8:30 p.m. each night. The films will be presented under the stars on a big screen in the Duke Island Park Band Shell.
