Get Active This Weekend

Run, jump walk, dance to music or swing a hockey stick — this weekend, you have a chance to do it all!

Let's cross our fingers for good weather this weekend.

Lots of fun outdoors activities, some already previously put off for rain, are on the calendar, including fundraisers and fun community events.

You can participate or cheer on those who are running or playing in a fundraiser to help stamp out human trafficking worldwide — or to help raise money for the Ridge Ice Hockey Association. The second goal already has been helped by a sponsorship by Valley Sports in the Stirling section of Long Hill Township, which is picking up the entry fee for all participants in this weekend's "Summer Stix" roller hockey tournament at Harry Dunham Park in Basking Ridge.
