Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church Holds Sunrise Hike

Hikers to meet at Sons of Liberty Park off Allen Road on Sunday.

The Outdoor Ministry from Liberty Corner is inviting all ages to join a four-mile walk from the church to the Sons of Liberty Farm, a new park in Bernards Township, scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 26 from 6:45 to 9 a.m. Terrain is mostly flat along the walk to the park, located off Allen Road.

Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church is at 45 Church St., in the Liberty Corner section of the township. Hikers are asked to meet at the church parking lot closest to Liberty Corner Elementary School.

Hikers are asked to wear hiking boots and long pants. Participants also may want to bring a lightweight backpack, water, a blanket to sit on during the devotion time, and a camera. Organizer Karen Witt will provide bagel bites for all to enjoy at the park.
