Lt. Governor Guadagno Cheers on Matheny Choir

Kim Guadagno stops by for backstage visit with Matheny Choir before their performance.

As members of the Matheny Medical and Educational Center's choir prepared for their appearance with Holiday Express on Thursday at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark, the Matheny students and patients received good luck wishes from an unexpected visitor — New Jersey Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno.

Guadagno reportedly told choir members, who attend or live at Matheny, which is located in Peapack-Gladstone, "You guys are going to be great!" according to a blog submitted by Matheny.

Guadagno then chatted with each choir member and promised adult patient Jessica Evans that she would visit Matheny soon.
