Make a Splash with Steve Woyce at the Bernards Twp. Library

Popular magician and comedian will put on a show Thursday, Aug. 12 at 7 pm.

Rabbits from hats and wands with special powers — magic appeals to people of all ages, particularly children. They delight in the surprise and wonder how the tricks are done.

Residents will have an opportunity to enjoy the magic and comedy of Steve Woyce this Thursday, Aug. 12 at the Bernards Township Library.

Courtesy of the Friends of the Library, Woyce will perform "Make a Splash." This brand new magic show, designed by Woyce , will incorporate the summer reading theme with magic, comedy and plenty of audience participation. He will be joined by Henry the Magic Rabbit and Splash the Seal.

Woyce is a professional magician and juggler who specializes in seasonal and thematic library-based programs for children. He performs throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware and New York. Woyce returns to the Bernards Township Library having delighted audiences in past with his "Save the Earth," Earth Day show and "The Turtle Show."

"He is very popular," said Ginny Bartsch, the program director. "Both the children and the parents like him. He always ties his programs to books we have at the library."

This is the second magic-themed program at the library this summer. On July 21, Brian Richards gave a beginner magic workshop for Tweens Night.

The program will begin at 7 p.m. in the program rooms and is scheduled to run for 45 minutes. All residents are invited to attend.
