NJ Transit Says Expect Delays For Wednesday Commute

Weather-related equipment issues are expected to delay rail commute times by 20-30 minutes.

Continuing record-high temperatures are causing difficulties on NJ Transit lines for Wednesday morning commutes.

A NJ Transit advisory posted at 9:28 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6 said, "Rail service on all lines is subject to 20-30 minute delays due to weather related issues.

A second alert at the same time said, "During a.m. commute on Wednesday, July 7, NJ Transit rail service may be subject to delays and cancellations due to weather-related equipment problems."

Rail users are encouraged to visit njtransit.com for updates and allow extra time for their commutes.
