GOP Endorses Carol Bianchi for Township Committee

On a snowy Monday evening, the Republican municipal committee interviewed two candidates to receive the party endorsement for this year's one seat available on the Township Committee Both candidates are members of the Planning Board, including Carol Bianchi, this year's Planning Board chair, and Kevin Orr, who is this year's chair of the Zoning Board of Adjustment. The committee went behind closed doors for a vote, and ultimately selected Bianchi, who will face Democrat David Ferdinand in the upcoming campaign if both officially win the June primary election.

Anthony Sblendorio, who lives in Basking Ridge with his wife Maria and their children, a landscape architect and owner of has been named the 2013 Small Business Person of the Year, a national award.
