Somerset Hills Women Among 19 to be Honored

Tickets on sale for 20th annual Outstanding Women in Somerset County awards dinner.

Women from Bernards Township, Bernardsville and Gladstone are among the 19 in Somerset County to be honored at the 20th annual Outstanding Women in Somerset County awards dinner scheduled for March 23.

The awards are sponsored by the Somerset County Commission on the Status of Women.

Tickets are on sale at $50 per person for the evening's program, scheduled to begin with a 6:30 p.m. cash bar, followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. at The Imperia, 1714 Easton Ave., in the Somerset section of Franklin Township.

“The 19 women being honored this year represent a cross-section of backgrounds and abilities,” said Somerset County Freeholder Mark Caliguire, commission liaison.  "It is our pleasure to recognize them for the many contributions they have made to their communities.”

The Commission on the Status of Women presents these awards annually in celebration of Women's History Month in March. Honorees are women who live in Somerset County.

Advance reservations are required by March 11, according to an announcement from Somerset County. No reservations will be taken at the door.
