Take Two: Winter Storm Warning In Effect for Somerset County

The second storm warning in less than a week is calling for 7-15 inches starting tonight and continuing until midnight on Wednesday.

It's as if Mother Nature asked for a "do-over" after last weekend's much hyped, under-delivered snow storm. The National Weather Service has issued a "Winter Storm Warning" yet again for Somerset County in effect from 7 p.m. tonight to midnight on Wednesday, Feb. 10.

A low pressure system has been developing off the coast of South Carolina and is expected to intensify. The nor'easter is expected to bring heavy snow and blizzard conditions to the area.

The most recent AccuWeather forecast calls for snow starting around 11 p.m. and continuing throughout the night. Snow is expected to fall all day Wednesday, tapering off around midnight. According the National Weather Service report, the snow could mix with sleet and rain tonight and early on Wednesday, although that is more likely to happen closer to the coasts.
