Three candidates for one seat up for election on the Bernards Township Committee, Republican Carol Bianchi, Independent Bill Connors and Democrat David Ferdinand appeared at a forum on Thursday night to talk about themselves, the issues in the township and to answer questions submitted by the public.
In this video, Ferdinand discusses why he is seeking election to the one available seat on all-GOP Township Committee.
The League of Women Voters of Somerset County together with the Ridge High School Empowerment for Political Participation (REPP) will host the public discussion of issues and questions from the public.
Additional information will appear about the candidates prior to the general election, scheduled for Nov. 5.
