Decorating the White House
After our very eventful November with "Super Storm Sandy", we can now relax a bit and enjoy the Christmas Holiday rush. We will be celebrating at the library with a catered lunch. Our speaker will be Sherrie Carr who will be speaking about when she experienced "Christmas at the White House." “Congratulations! This is to confirm that you have been selected as a 2011 White House Holiday Volunteer. Your decorative skills and creative talent...” October 18, 2011.
Sherrie Carr read these words over and over again before she let out a scream. After almost nine months of letter writing, emails, computer mishaps and phone calls it finally happened, she was going to Washington, to the White House. Please join us for a fun time.
The program will held at the Bernards Township Library on December 11 beginning with a catered lunch. The program will run from 11:30 to 2:00. The cost is $15.00. Please RSVP with check to Ginny Lyttle, 3 Valley Stream Drive, Morris Plains, 07950.
