Farmstead Players to read Chekhov's Three Sisters

The
Farmstead Players will read Three Sisters
by Anton Chekhov Monday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. at Farmstead Arts
Center, 450 King George Road
in Basking Ridge.

The
play captures the frustration of the
privileged Russian sisters living in a small town but yearning to return to Moscow where they grew
up. Their unhappiness doesn’t lead to action, yet it illuminates their search
for meaning as their social status decays in the oncoming modern world.

Farmstead
readers for this presentation, directed by Artistic Director William Ward, are:
Lisa Black, Patrick Busch, Katy Cockrell, Peter Curley, Fred Dennehy, Alan
Gershenson, Danielle Levitt, NJ McBride-Wallace, Sharon McGuire, Joel Redmount,
Ed Schroeder, Mary Jane Walsh and William Ward.
