Growing in the Garden – April 2014 Programs: Lions in the Garden - April Fool & Countdown to Earth Day

Winter, spring, summer and fall -- come visit the gardens at Macculloch Hall! This year-round hands-on art program for 3 - 5 year olds and their caregivers uses natural resources found in Macculloch Hall Historical Museum’s garden. Program includes a story, walk in the garden, and an art project. The program meets the first and third Tuesday each month and two session times are available, 10:15 -11 am and 1:15 - 2 pm.  During inclement weather the program meets indoors in the museum classroom. Please visit the Museum Facebook page for weather related closings.

Countdown to Earth Day  - On Tuesday, April 15, 2014 Macculloch Hall Historical Museum invites 3 -5 year olds and their caregivers to prepare for Earth Day with a story and walk in the garden to consider what a special place the earth is.  Children will make a large paper planet Earth to take home.  As we remember to “be green” throughout the year, children and adults who wear green to the program receive a special gift.
