Bernards PEC Precious Pearl Gala Event

The Bernards PEC announce that on November 13, 2010 at 7:00 pm, they will be hosting their second annual Precious Pearl Gala event "A Night in Monte Carlo" at Trump National Golf Club.  The Bernards PEC is a non-profit organization created by a group of determined parents advocating for children with learning and developmental disabilities or handicaps of any kind.  At this year's event, there will be a live auction of prizes such as a Disney time share, a vacation at Cape Cod, a fooseball table, golf outings, inflatable water slide and bouncy, spa gifts, jewelry and much more. The proceeds will be distributed to the Bernards Township School Disctrict for the purchase of a $20,000.00 reading program to be used for all schools and for students in all grades, with or without disabilities, in the district, the YMCA for the Special Needs Programs, District-wide Sensitivity training for the entire 3rd grade, the Hope Foundations for adults with Autism, and for a Recreational Center for all children with special needs.  Last year, with Donald Trump making an appearance, the Bernards PEC was able to raise $50,000.00 and that money was donated to purchase a van and other necessary supplies for the Bernards Township special education students.  The cost for this event is $175.00 per person with sponsorship and advertising opportunities available as well.  This event is open to the public.
