DI team collecting donations for Orphans in Swaziland, Africa

Our Bernards Township 6th grade DI team will be sitting outside the Bernardsville Shop Rite from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 3, 2011.  We will be collecting donations of money, new underwear, first aid supplies (such as Tylenol, Motrin, Band-aids), to send to orphans in Swaziland. Many orphans living there suffer from a condition called intestinal worms.  This problem can be cured and prevented with a pill that we plan to buy with the money we raise, and with underwear, which many of them do not have.  Also, many people in Swaziland do not even have simple first aid supplies such as Band-Aids, so we will also send and buy first aid supplies with the money we raise.  If you are not able to come to Shop Rite, but would like to contribute to our project, you can make a tax-deductible donation with a check made out to "Heart for Africa", or send new underwear or first aid supplies to our team manager, Jennifer Asay, at 71 Butternut Lane in Basking Ridge, NJ 07920.  If you have any questions about our event you can contact asayjl@gmail.com or by calling (908) 268-8721.
