Local Children Receive Gifts Thanks To Bernards Twp., Bernardsville PBAs
Bernards Township police organization teams up with Somerset Hills YMCA to provide needed gifts to area children.
All of the fundraisers that the Bernards Township PBA holds during the year go partially to provide this annual toy drive to area children. The Bernardsville police also participated in wrapping and delivering about 60 toys to the Somerset Hills YMCA in Basking Ridge.
Working together with the Somerset Hills YMCA to match up the right gifts with the children, the PBA members — and their wives — select and wrap gifts that are dropped off each December at the YMCA.
The YMCA then distributes the toys to the children on the Y's financial assistance list.
