Biography: Kevin Lynch Herron, age 20, of Basking Ridge, N.J., passed away on November 28, 2011.

Kevin graduated from in 2010 and was a student at Raritan Valley Community College. Kevin participated in baseball, football, and wrestling while attending Ridge HS. Kevin was actively involved in the local Catholic community, participating as an altar server at St. James RC Church for over five years and was a leader in the local Christian Youth Ministry.

Kevin also visited Ghana, Africa and New Orleans on humanitarian aid trips.

Kevin is survived by his mother and father, Jane and Dan Herron of Basking Ridge, a newborn son, as well as seven siblings: Colin, Liam Benedict, Frank, Mary, Siobhan, Eoin and Conall ("Fin"), all of Basking Ridge. Kevin is also survived by his grandparents, Dennis and Regina Boyle of Basking Ridge, and George and Jo Herron of Valley Stream, N.Y., along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews living in New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Virginia and New Hampshire.

Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on December 3, 2011, 11 a.m. at St. James Church, 184 S. Finley Ave., Basking Ridge, N.J.
