Bernards Man Indicted for Alleged Possession of Child Porn

John Schulenberg is accused of having a thumb drive with at least 100 pictures of children engaged in sex acts, authorities said.

A Bernards man who was charged with allegedly possessing child pornography in September was indicted by a Somerville grand jury Wednesday on a child endangerment charge.

John Schulenberg, 59, was reported to police when he was allegedly seen taking pictures of students at a school bus stop at Adamsville Road and Chelsea Way on Sept. 17.

After receiving Schulenberg's consent to have his car searched, Bridgewater Police found women's underwear and four thumb drives—one of which allegedly held child porn images.

In the indictment, Schulenberg allegedly possessed at least 100 or more images of children engaged in what appeared to be real or simulated sex acts, NJ.com reported.

Schulenberg was released on bail, NJ.com said.
