Bernards PBA Golf Outing Put Off Due to Weather

Annual fundraising event postponed at Basking Ridge Country Club.

The Bernards Township poliice PBA Local 357's scheduled annual fundraising golf outing on Monday has been put off due to weather, and put on the calendar again for this fall at the Basking Ridge Country Club at 185 Madisonville Road in Basking Ridge.

The event, already sold out for golfers, has been rescheduled for Sept. 30, PBA President Ray Gizienski said on Monday morning.

The PBA will refund anyone's money who is not available for Sept 30, he added.

Reservations still may be made for dinner only for $50 for those interested, Gizienski said. For further information, email btpba357@gmail.com

The fundraising event was scheduled to begin with a noon tee off, with dinner to follow.

The annual fundraiser benefits the local PBA, including such programs as a recently awarded scholarship to a Ridge High School student who plans to study law enforcement, Gizienski said.
