Lamppost Knocked Down, Lights Damaged in Hamilton Crest
Criminal mischief incident remains under investigation.
A 10-foot lamppost was knocked over and lights were damaged near the entrance to the Hamilton Crest neighborhood earlier this month, Bernards Township Police said.
According to the township police report, the light post was found lying on the ground after being knocked over some time between 6 and 9:50 p.m. on Aug. 9.
The responding officer also found that lights in the area had been destroyed, the report said.
The report indicated that someone living in the area reported damage to police.
