A gas line was struck on Valley Road, near the Delta gas station and across from the Veteran's Administration Medical Center on Sunday night causing home evacuations.

"The Liberty Corner Fire Company responded with two engines and a rescue truck

Nearby residences were evacuated, according to Friedman, as utilities workers from PSE&G dug up the gas line.
