Home Burglary on Brentwood Court

Police said front door appeared to have been forced open.

said they responded to a burglar alarm at a home on Brentwood Court on Feb. 25, and discovered signs of forced entry through the front door, which remained open.

The owner of the home, vacant at the time, said that diamond stud earrings and gold hoop earrings appeared to have been taken from the master bedroom, the police report said. Police are still trying to determine whether additional items were taken.

According to township police, the apparent burglary took place some time between 7 a.m. on Feb. 22 and 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 25. A township police officer responded to the alarm.

Township detectives then followed up and searched the home for forensic evidence, police said. The reported burglary remains under investigation, police said.
