Township police on Tuesday said the homeowner has not yet given a complete and detailed list of what appeared to have taken from the home, but preliminary indications were that an unspecified amount of jewelry and cash were missing.

Police said investigators searched the residence for forensic evidence. Items that might be used as potential evidence were collected and will be analyzed. The preliminary investigation indicates that the burglary most likely took place between 12:30 p.m. last Wednesday and 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, according to the police report.
