Jewelry Theft in Warren Remains Under Investigation

Theft reported on same day that jewelry and cash reportedly stolen from home in The Hills in Basking Ridge.

Warren Township police continue to investigate last Sunday's report of the theft of jewelry valued at $6,200 from a Round Top Road home, Police Lt. Herbert Hentschel Jr. said on Wednesday.

The report was called in at 9:12 a.m. on Sunday, according to the police report.

Warren Township is not the only municipality in the area to report thefts and burglaries in recent months.

Jewelry and cash reported stolen last Sunday in Basking Ridge

Neighboring Bernards Township also continues to investigate a series of break-ins into that town's homes and parked vehicles. 

Most recently, jewelry and cash were reported stolen some time on Sunday from The Hills section of Basking Ridge, Bernards Townshp police said this week.
