1 Hurt in Basking Ridge Motorcycle Accident

A motorcyclist ran off the road at the Mt. Airy Road exit on I-287 and suffered a minor injury.

A motorcyclist suffered a leg injury after riding off an exit ramp of Interstate 287 in Basking Ridge Friday night, State Police said.

The accident occurred at Exit 26—Mt. Airy Road—at about 8:40 p.m., State Police said.

Jimmy Tran, 21, of Howell, was taken to Morristown Memorial Hospital with an injury to his left leg, State Trooper Christopher Kay said. The injury was non-life threatening, Kay said.

According to Kay, Tran failed to turn on the exit ramp and ran off the roadway.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash and no one else was injured, Kay said.
