Pilot Remains in Hospital After Crashing at P.A. Airfield

Eldon Vosseller crashed glider after take-off Saturday at Van Sant Airport in Tinicum Township.

A Basking Ridge pilot remained in the intensive care unit of a hospital Tuesday after crashing his glider during take-off at the Van Sant Airport in Tinicum Township, Pa., according to NJ.com.

Seventy-year-old Eldon Vosseller was flying a New Jersey Civil Air Patrol glider when he crashed on the grassy runway around noon.

According to The Morning Call, Vosseller was being cared for at St. Luke's University Hospital-Fountain Hill.
