Police Investigation Still Ongoing In Home Invasion Case

Police are still looking for two men who broke into and ransacked a house on Newell Drive while it's occupant was home.

The investigation to find the two, or potentially three suspects involved in a break in and robbery on Newell Drive in Bernards Township on Dec. 16 is still ongoing according to the Somerset County Prosecutor's office.

According to a press release from the Prosecutor's office, the victim was home and in bed when two masked men, described later as over six feet tall with dark clothing and gloves, broke into the house by forcing their way through a locked door.

One robber woke the resident up in her bedroom and stayed with her while the other ransacked the house. The homeowner was unharmed by the suspects.
