$2,500 Worth of Jewelry, Electronics Taken in Burglaries

N. Finley Avenue and Monarch Circle homes reported broken into last week, police said.

Forced entry was not used in two residential burglaries last week, said.

An iPod touch and an iPad were reported stolen from within inside a North Finley Avenue home on either Sept. 5 or 6, police said. The resident filed the incident report at 8 a.m. Sept. 6, police said.

Jewelry valued at $2,500 was also reported stolen on Sept. 6 from a Monarch Circle home, police said. The burglary occurred sometime after Aug. 24, police said. The owner apparently did not notice the jewelry was taken during that time period, police said.
