Bernards Library Hosts Forum on Plans for Future

Community Forum is 7 p.m. on Wednesday night, input sought.

The is planning for the future, and has invited residents to give their input at a Community Forum at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the library at 32 S. Maple Ave.

Residents can give their thoughts on what role the library should play in the community in upcoming years, where the library should prioritize its resources and other issues. 

The community also can learn about the data already gathered in through the library's Strategic Planning process.

"Share your thoughts and ideas about library services and priorities and help inform efforts to plan the library's future," said the library's invitation.

“The forum represents a great opportunity for the community to have a voice and get involved in shaping the future direction of the library,” said Library Trustee Erica Studness, who chairs the library’s Strategic Planning committee.

“The forum is part of our over-all Library Strategic Planning process.” said Library Board President Tim Opremcak. “It is very important that we receive feedback from the community on how the library can better serve the residents and where we should focus our resources to produce the most impact in the community.  I encourage all residents to participate.”

Members of the Library Board of Trustees, library staff, and the library’s Strategic Planning Committee will be on hand to hear from Bernards Township residents.

No registration is required for this event. Light refreshments will be served.
