A campaign fundraiser featuring appearances by radio talk show speaker Steve Malzberg and musician Trade Martin is planned next Tuesday at the for a conservative seeking the Republican nomination for New Jersey's 7th district.
The campaign fundraiser, at $125 a ticket, is scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. next Tuesday, May 8, at the restaurant at the at 185 Madisonville Road in Basking Ridge.
, who is seeking the Republican nomination for a third two-year term in U.S. Congress.
Because of redistricting following the 2010 census report, Bernards Township next year will be moved from the 11th to the 7th district for New Jersey in U.S. Congress. Starting in 2013, the 7th district will include all of the Somerset Hills towns and Long Hill Township.
Malzberg, a conservative radio talk show personality and Martin, a Grammy Award winning musician, are expected to be part of the evening's program. An open bar and appetizers will be included as well, according to an announcement of the event.
