Congressman Frelinghuysen Postpones Visit To Bernards

The originally planned town hall for Saturday will no longer take place.

The planned visit from U.S. Representative for New Jersey's 11th district Rodney Frelinghuysen to Bernards Township this Saturday has been postponed due to House votes scheduled for this weekend.

"Nancy Pelosi has decided that she's keeping the house in session... it looks like at least Saturday and Sunday, so we have to be down here," said Frelinghuysen's Senior Policy Advisor Steve Wilson said.

"There will be votes on Saturday, and the timing of getting back and forth to Somerset County to Washington DC, he doesn't want to miss any votes," Wilson said. "The big issue is he has to be down here to vote on health care."
