Lord Stirling 'Jack Benny' Ride on May 29 for Age 60+

Special trail ride for seniors only at Lord Stirling county stable.

in Basking Ridge on May 29 will offer an opportunity for riders with at least six decades behind them to enjoy a leisurely “walk-only” springtime horseback trail ride on the beautiful trails of the Lord Stirling property in Basking Ridge.

The one-hour “Jack Benny” Trail Ride is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. that Sunday, starting from the stable office and barn at 256 S. Maple Ave.

Registration is open starting now through Thursday, May 26, and will be held at the stable office. The fee is $28 for Somerset County residents and $36 for non-residents. The trail rides for senior citizens are held periodically.

Lord Stirling Stable encompasses 450 acres with 18 miles of trails over woods and fields, one indoor ring, three outdoor rings, and an outdoor-jumping course. For additional information, please call Lord Stirling Stable at 908- 766-5955.
