Planning Board Meeting Canceled, Ridge Collects Sandy Donations

Few scheduled events during the few days heading to Thanksgiving.

The Ridge High School student government will be heading efforts to support the Belmar School District which has suffered devastating losses due to Hurricane Sandy.

Many students in that community still are displaced and some members of the community are still unaccounted for. The Ridge students has been in contact with that school's storm relief committee, and they have requested supplies in support of the Belmar school relief effort.

All supplies can be dropped off to the counseling office at Ridge High School through December 12th.  Please click here to view requested donations.

Over at town hall, a golf advisory meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Monday at Bernards Township town hall, 1 Collyer Lane, Basking Ridge.

However, the Planning Board meeting scheduled for this Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. has been canceled. The previous meeting, which had been scheduled for Oct. 30, had been called off due to the storm.
