Back to School Nights Continue Into October

More coming up at Annin, Ridge High School and in Somerset Hills School District.

The next few weeks is a time for parents to mark their calendars for an evening that's important for parents with children in school — Back to School Night.

The William Annin Middle School hosted its annual Back to School night for the 6th grade at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20. Ocober 11 has been scheduled for the night when parents of 7th and 8th graders can meet their childrens' teachers and learn about their activities while at school.

Ridge High School has scheduled its Back for School nights for Sept. 27 for 9th and 12th graders, and on Oct. 4 for 10th and 11th grade students.

Bad weather canceled original date for Pre-K and kindergarten night at Bedwell

Over in the Somerset Hills School District, inclement weather and a power outage resulted in calling off the planned Back to School night for PreK and kindergarten students at the Bedwell Elementary School. That event was rescheduled for 6 to 7:10 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20, according to the school district website.

The previously scheduled Back to School night for grades 1 and 2 at the Bedwell School was the same night, from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m., the website said.

Back to School Nights for grades 3 and 4 at Bedwell are scheduled for Sept. 24, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., according to information from the school district. The Bernardsville Middle School is scheduled to hold its Back to School night on at 7 p.m. on Sept. 27, and Bernards High School has set Back to School Night for 7 p.m. on Oct. 4.
