She was sworn into office on May 21, 2009, filling the unexpired term of her late husband, Assemblyman Eric Munoz, M.D. She subsequently was elected to her first 2 year term representing  the 21st Legislative District.  As a clinical nurse specialist,  Assemblywoman Munoz has experience in both the delivery of health care and the insurance industry itself. She will focus on  the tremendous challenges New Jersey faces in terms of public health policy and needs. The Assemblywoman is serving on the Assembly Health and Senior Services Committee and the Assembly Tourism and the Arts Committee. Bring your questions about health care and senior issues.
