The Ridge High School Forensics Team is sponsoring a “sell your gold” fundraiser after school from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the high school cafeteria. Other items, including silver and platinum, also can be priced and sold at the the event.
The gold exchange will offer members of the community an opportunity to sell unwanted gold items and donate 15 percent of the sale cost to the forensics team, a group of students which this year again achieved the team's tenth consecutive New Jersey State Championship title. The highest market, price depending on weight, karat, and the daily spot price as of June 6 will be paid.
The Ridge forensics team is raising funds to help offset the costs for 14 students who qualified to attend the National Forensic League Championships, in Dallas, Tx., and 34 students who advanced to the National Catholic Forensic League Grand Nationals, held in Washington D.C.
