William Annin Middle School Orchestra Premieres Student Composition
William Annin Middle School in Basking Ridge will present a performance by student composer Ariel Saloman on Wednesday evening, May 18, 2011. The performance is part of the Spring Orchestra Concert, which will take place in the William Annin auditorium at 7:00 pm. The piece is entitled “Serenade Lilas.”

Ariel is an 8th grade student who wrote, recorded and produced the piece in one of her elective classes, Creating Music. In the class, students use a variety of software to create music on computers. With the help of her teacher, Ariel’s piece was then arranged for the 8th grade orchestra.
